After 15 years, I’ve decided to sell my Vandercook SP15. I started the letterpress lab at The University of Mississippi with an SP-15. When the opportunity arose, I acquired this one to work with at my home studio, while my children were small. Now they are off to college and would like to offer this one to a good home. It’s been a wonderful press to me and has been well cared for. Paul Moxon helped me change belts and rollers a few years ago, when he came to do a maintenance workshop in the university print studio.
The press comes with a Boxcar Grid Base, lock-up bar, some quoins, a key, and more knick-knacks. It is motorized and in great working condition. It is small enough (about 750 pounds) to move with 2-3 sturdy men, which makes it really nice for a home studio.

The serial number is 23962 and is registered.
I’m asking for $14,000 or best offer. The press is at my home on ground level, in my garage in Oxford, MS. The buyer will be responsible for picking up the press and coordinating all transportation. I’m hoping to find the right buyer as soon as possible, but I want to make sure it goes where it will be used and loved as much as I have loved it!
