Condition, stated plainly so nobody wastes a trip:
Flywheel turns freely by hand — not seized. The press is still wired and plugged in, but I have not run it and won’t, since I don’t know when it was last serviced. Sold as-is, where-is, no warranties, running condition unknown.
Has not been run in several years.
The safety guards are missing. I searched the building and they are not here. Brandtjen & Kluge confirmed there is no guard package available for this model and estimated over $16,000 to produce one, since many of the components are no longer made. Commercial dealers have all passed on the press for this reason — I’m not going to pretend otherwise. Regular parts for the machine are still stocked by Kluge.
Roughly a ton and a quarter. Buyer arranges and pays for rigging, rigger carries insurance, removal by mutual agreement.
Ground floor with dock and ramp access — straightforward removal for any competent rigger. Ashley, Ohio, about 30 minutes north of Columbus.
Asking $750 or best offer. I’m motivated by floor space more than money, so make me an offer. Inspection welcome — come look at it in person, that’s the only honest way to buy a press like this. Plenty of photos available, including nameplate and close-ups of the feeder and bed.
