We have an Improved No. 8 Pearl press (bed: 9”x5 1/2” Platen: 8 3/4”x 5 5/8”) which spent several years outside. It was, and is, very rusted. The mechanical movement was rusted solid to the extent that teeth on the two gears have deteriorated to maybe one half their original size. I have gotten the press rotating again, but I do not expect it to print in the future. If there is an interest in parts from the press, I can try to remove them. Buyer would be responsible for shipping costs from Northern Virginia.
