Little giant

I have posted before. An old little giant printing press. About 50 years old. In good condition. Also a cutter and type. Pictures posted. Need an idea what the value is. In a garage in NJ.

Time for it to be sold.

Are you sure on that press? The Little Giants that I recall didn’t look anything like that - they were basically contained in a sheet-metal outer skin.

I believe the Little Giant is a No 4. John Jenkins has one out in Colorado that he has posted about http://www.briarpress.org/20130 .

That drawer face looks like part of a double or triple Polhemous cabinets—but hard to tell without a more encompassing photo.

That looks like an early Little Giant, i had one that was called a webbendorfer, was told it was an early little giant. everything looks and works like the newer ones but it don’t have the side covers, i’m afraid its a lot older than 50 years old.

do you have any more photos of the LG? I could be interested to buy it.

Thanks for the info. It could be more then 50 years. Any idea on how much it is worth? Any suggestion will be nice. In NJ.

lady Di, the value depends on many variables.
what kind of condition the press is in?
how easy it is to move? do you have to tear down a wall?
who wants it ? scrap guy/gal? A printer who will bring it back to life? So you see it’s not a straight answer.
A lot a machines I have rescued were given to me.
Moving heavy machines is a big expense of time, labor
and expertise. best james
