Local Museum ID Part 2

OK, here’s the 2nd press. A little table top. I need trucks and rollers. IF someone can identify this little rascal, I might have more success in locating the proper parts. Thanks so much!

This is a (probably) Improved Model (its name, not a designation) press, and looks to be a 5x8 based on the measuring tape. It looks like there may be trucks on the roller core on the press, which are probably 1 inch in diameter, possibly less, and that should be the roller diameter as well. I don’t see a chase in this photo, so you’ll want to find one — which may be difficult given that these are not very common presses.

Having a chase fabricated will be easier (and cheaper if factoring in search time) than finding an original for an uncommon press like this. If someone here has one of these, perhaps they’ll chime in with some details and measurements to help you have a chase made.

The 8x5 is a Model No 2 in the UK and I believe a No1 in the U.S.
I use a No 2 and it takes a Golding Pearl No 1 chase.
