Letterpress Printing in Philadelphia
We will spending a weekend in Philadelphia in a few weeks. Anything special in letterpress printing to see while there? Particularly something open on Saturday or Sunday.
thanks

Benjamin Franklin Bache’s printing office in Liberty National Park, with demos on a reproduction Common press. A static exhibit of Franklin-era presses at The Franklin Institute. If you can get out of the city to Doylestown, the Mercer Museum has several hand presses including a rare Rust Washington and another rarity, a very early Hoe Washington, as well as a nice Hoe Smith press. And the museum is a fantastic collection in a fantastic building, well worth the visit.

The Rosenbach Foundation and Museum on Delancey near Rittenhouse Square. No presses, but an incredible collection of rare books and fine art and furniture.
